What we store, and why
Alongside cookies, we use your browser's own local and session storage. Both are covered here because, from your point of view, they do the same job.
Strictly necessary
Your sign-in token. Kept in your browser so you stay signed in as you move between pages. Removing it signs you out. Staff signing in to the store's administration have their own equivalent token.
Your shopping bag and wishlist. Kept so your selections survive a page reload, and so a guest can build a bag before creating an account.
Anti-abuse checks. Our sign-up and contact forms use a third-party protection service that sets its own technical values to distinguish people from bots.
Your last scroll position on listings. Held in session storage only, so that pressing back from a product returns you to the spot in the list you left, instead of the top of the page. It is discarded when you close the tab.
These are required for the store to function. There is no way to switch them off and still shop, which is why we do not present them as a choice.
What we do not use
We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not build advertising profiles from your browsing.
Managing it yourself
Every browser lets you view and clear cookies and site data, usually under Privacy or Site Settings. Clearing ours will sign you out and empty your saved bag and wishlist. You can also use a private or incognito window, which discards everything when you close it.
